Stratigraphy

Tthis Early Mittani phase, is charecterized by a re-organization of the area around the staircase J02f130 where a glacis layer was layed. No human activities are attested during this phase in J4. There is only a natural build up of the Tell's surface.
the glacis layer that was layed down on top of the mound f77 in Phase 63-MZA in k82, is the same as f127 in k72. The assignement of two different feature numbers is the result of excavating it in two different loci, and being overlayed by the E baulk. The presumed wall, f146, elonging to this phase, could belong to a step of the Apron "used" in a later phase, during the period of the use of the bin installation. The other possiility, is that it was built in a later period (in a period of rebuilding activities associated probably with the extension of the revetement wall).
