General Description

Green-Buff Slipped ware is a Late Chalcolithic ware that can be recognized based on the green-buff slip that is applied over the red firing clay. The vessels are wheelmade with some chaff and fine mineral temper. This ware lacks the carbon core that is characteristic of many other LC wares.

Note: This ware was also abbreviated as LCB, which may still be found in some places.
