3. STRATIGRAPHY

Recovery/Assignment

Roster Date Author Record
Strategy (projected or implemented) 2010-08-07 cJC We did not excavate this baulk in features as we knew that all of these features were composed of indistinguishable natural accumulations. All of the pottery was collected together from the baulk, not separated by the features. [Input: U807CJC.j]
Procedures 2010-08-07 cJC This baulk was especially thick as it bordered on the large trench and was used to protect the workmen while they worked high above the trench. We did not want to risk a portion of the edge of the trench collapsing. Once they had excavated down in k1 they had an area to work from and it was taken away by shafat until the last edge which was collapsed into the trench. This was also taken out by shafat. [Input: U807CJC.j]
