Introduction

     The strata sequence currently used by this edition of the UGR for J5 is JPD. It is based on the J5 data, but has been coordinated with excavation units J1, J2, and J3. It reflects a list of possible strata that range from volumetric material (Stratum 0) to the earliest deposits (Stratum 999).

     Note that important strata that span more than one unit appear in boldface.
