Stratigraphy
The most significant factor in Phase 8m (Stratum 70) is evidence of a limited Middle Assyrian presence. Structural evidence includes two lines of stones just under the surface (f28, f71) connected by a threshold (f163).
Several layers of accumulations above Mittani layers along the north side of the unit contain ceramics clearly datable to the Middle Assyrian period.
